Leeds is a city known for its generosity and community spirit and we think those working hard to promote and support local charities and groups deserve a helping hand.
We have a number of opportunities across our markets for charities and local community groups to take stalls free of charge to sell goods, raise funds through cash collections and raise awareness depending on which market they choose to attend.
Opportunities at Leeds Kirkgate Market
A table stall is available free of charge on the indoor market at Leeds Kirkgate Market adjacent to Butcher’s Row every Friday and Saturday. This stall is for information, awareness raising and cash collections. Goods cannot be sold at this stall.
For groups and organisations wishing to sell goods as part of their fundraising activities a stall is available on the outdoor market free of charge of charge every Thursday. This stall is for the sale of goods only.
For organisations looking to spread the word on the outdoor market, the promotional space, usually available for hire to commercial organisations, is free of charge to charities and community groups.
To book either of the stalls simply complete the booking form (Indoor Market Form or Outdoor Market Form) and return it to James or Lorna at the Leeds Markets team.
Opportunities at Local Markets
All stalls at local markets are free to charities and community groups. Stalls are provided at Pudsey and Yeadon and only on Friday’s and Saturday’s at Otley market.
Organisations can still attend the Tuesday market at Otley but no stall is provided as traders usually bring their own stalls to this market.
To book stalls at any of the local markets simply complete the booking form and return it to James at the Leeds Markets team.
