Farmers Markets

Making food shopping a much more personal experience Farmers Markets, bring together cheesemongers, bakers, butchers and greengrocers alongside a range of craft makers and artist to showcase independent producers across the city.

With a Farmers Market taking place every week across Leeds there’s plenty of choice whether you’re looking for alternative city centre shopping experience or local produce delivered to your doorstep.

Whilst many of the Farmers Markets in Leeds are run by independent organisations and local communities, Leeds City Council has three regular Farmers Markets that it runs throughout the month.

The most established is Leeds Kirkgate Farmers Market held the first Sunday of every month in the outdoor market area at Leeds Kirkgate Market. The sister market to this is the Briggate Farmer’s and Craft Market running every third Sunday of the month and incorporating artists, makers and crafts alongside fresh organic produce.

Leeds City Council also run local Farmers Markets in Pudsey on the last Thursday of every month.
