
The Leeds Markets team run three Farmers Markets throughout the month at Leeds Kirkgate Market, Pudsey and a farmers and craft market along Briggate in the city centre.
Prices to trade at the Farmers Markets vary depending on location and popularity of the market.

There is currently a waiting list to trade at this market.
The fee includes a stall and a roof, the price also includes electricity provided at all markets except Briggate. You can pay cash on the day or in advance at the Leeds Markets Information Centre by cash, cheque or card, all cards incur a 15p charge.
Availability at some of the Farmers Markets is limited and some have a waiting list. James and Darren at the Leeds Markets team will allocate places as they become available based on variety of products already on offer and length of time on the waiting list to make sure that the farmer’s markets always offer customer plenty of variety and reduce the amount of competition amongst the traders.
To trade at one of the Leeds Markets run farmer’s markets simply fill out an application form and return to the Leeds Markets team. You will be notified within five working days if you have a place or if there is a waiting list.
Anything else you should know?
Before trading you will be asked to provide proof of address and UK citizenship, all traders must also have liability insurance. Here’s a list of accepted forms of identification to make sure you don’t have a wasted trip.
There are also a number of other privately managed Farmers Markets taking place across the city at various times throughout the month. Stalls are managed by the operators of each market, contact the Leeds Markets team for the individual contacts at your preferred market.
