We’re all a little subdued here in the office today after our big night out at the Leeds Retail Awards, which kicked off this year’s Leeds Loves Shopping festival.

We’re delighted to announce that we won the award for ‘Best Shopping Centre’ – there was no Oscar winning speech from us but we did do several little shuffle dances around the room in true gracious winner style!

Thanks to all of our traders who work hard to make Leeds Kirkgate Market and amazing shopping experience, and to all of our customers who voted for us at the awards. We’re off out on to the market floor in search of alka seltzer and paracetemol...
